The project focuses on the commercialization of BIOTA’s innovative modular systems for the sustainable cultivation and monitoring of organisms (such as fish, plants, and microorganisms) in controlled environments. These systems are developed using cutting-edge technologies, including automation, AI, sensor networks, and biotechnology, and are aimed at transforming how we approach organic waste management, protein production, urban farming, and environmental restoration.

Established by scientists from the Croatian Institute for Biodiversity, the company uses advanced technologies and conducts ecological and biological research across various species and habitats in the Balkan region.
